This is a really interesting example of using the dice not only in their rolling aspect. I like how it informs the gameplay.

You there! Don’t you know there’s a war on? Get planting, citizen. The kids at the front are relying on us all to make sacrifices.
Victory Garden is a solo journaling game about growing plants and sending them off to war.
You'll plant a seed by placing a six-sided dice on a flat, well-lit surface. Day by day, you'll roll dice and stack them on top of your plant while answering prompts in a journal as you consider what this plants means to you and what it could mean to the war effort.
When the stack of dice tips over, it’s harvest time. Write a last journal entry describing sending your plant to the front. Then, if you choose to, begin again with a new seed.
When you roll the dice and all possible prompts are crossed out, or when you run out of dice, the war is over. Write a final entry about being part of the victory.
Victory Garden was created for OnePageJam2020.
